- CSF in 2018 -
The concept of the series is simple: CSF aims to showcase exceptional performances by both Australia and the world’s finest musical artists of the most well-loved, virtuosic and emotionally poignant classical music.

Internationally renowned performers from Australia and around the world, united by their love of creating and sharing music, will heighten the audience experience through vivid interaction in both English and French. Through their innovative and engaging 1-hour programmes, each performance will take the listeners on a unique musical journey - aimed at making both the performers and audiences feel at home with one another.

Located in close proximity to the Eiffel Tower, the Australian Embassy has the advantage of a central position with picturesque views, while above all providing CSF a home to celebrate the joy of truly international connections.

On June 3, ‘Scenes from Childhood’ describes the musical beginnings of three artists (piano, violin and cello), through the musical miniatures of Beethoven, Schumann and Mendelssohn.

The second concert on November 18th, ‘Mementos & Souvenirs’, will see the combinations of piano quartet and then string sextet performing two blockbuster works from the chamber music repertoire - Schumann’s Piano Quartet Op.44, and Tchaikovsky’s String Sextet ‘Souvenir de Florence’.

Due to security at the Australian Embassy, ticket registration is essential in coming to CSF events in Paris, and you must register your details (and those of your family and guests) via the link below, or on our ‘Tickets’ page. Places are limited, and whilst registering is essential, you must also arrive early on the concert day to ensure your seat.

We look forward to seeing you in 2018 for some fabulous concerts!
